The idea standing behind our project is that, even though there is a convergence  between web and television, the immense potential of interactivity is at the moment just partially exploited.

Interactive television has up to now been intended solely as a medium in which the interaction is performed by the viewers via an advanced remote control.

We prefer to define this type of interactivity as “passive interactivity” because it merely allows a choice between a limited range of products offered by the broadcaster.

Palm Dreams proposes the “Active Interactivity” giving a chance to the viewer to actively participate in television programmes remotely either live or deferred.

The Palm Dreams generation users will be able to produce video contributions as well as to interact with the broadcaster and with the community.

Our technology will  gather, validate, organize, manage and finally distribute, in real time,  web and mobile contents into TV.
